Lolita McIver has been working as a counselor at the Master's level for 4 years. She holds certifications in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, as well as trauma-based curricula such as Beyond Trauma and Helping Women Recover. Lolita's areas of expertise include counseling in family dynamics, trauma, and life changes. Lolita's therapeutic approach is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. Lolita has experience in providing individual and group counseling, as well as expertise in trauma, substance abuse, parenting support, family counseling, depression management, and faith-based counseling.


Education:

Bachelor’s in Psychology from Rutgers University 

Master’s in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family from Pillar College.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time Lolita enjoys DIY projects around the home.
