Individuals who select this service will undergo guidance from a mental health therapist to help develop their partnership. Couples will be assessed to identify the best approach to use throughout treatment. Typically, sessions occur with both parties meeting with the same therapist over an agreed period of time. Exercises are used to progress, even rebuild the relationship in order to restore areas such as communication, conflict, intimacy or issues presented to the therapist by each individual, or to strengthen the relationship between the two persons involved. The goal is to bring clarity and understanding to barriers that may be impacting the relationship.
