My professional experiences include a variety of positions as an educator for the past twenty plus years. These experiences include; Middle Grades Teacher, GED/Adult Education Teacher, Professional School Counselor, Assistant Principal, Instructional Specialist, Principal, and Adjunct Professor. I have had the distinct opportunity to experience the many pleasures of being the instructional leader, a visionary for school improvement, and helping others. These experiences have taught me flexibility, to be a team player, and to make decisions that will best benefit all that are involved. I believe strongly in building, nurturing, and maintaining positive relationships while providing guidance to others. I believe my M.A. Degree and Ed.S. Degree in the area of counseling will serve as a strong foundation to help others achieve success. These two degrees in addition to my leadership training, doctorate degree in curriculum studies, coaching training, classroom teacher experiences and other professional experiences are strengths for me as a mental health professional.
